When it comes to technology, Laborers-AGC provides its affiliates with
technical applications and support that enables their training funds to
operate effectively and efficiently as they serve LIUNA members and
signatory contractors throughout the United States and Canada.
TRAC
TRAC is a powerful database application provided by Laborers-AGC to its
affiliated training funds. This Laborer specific technology allows
training funds to accurately and securely record training and
apprenticeship information in a format that is easily accessed for
reporting, planning, and evaluating training initiatives.
LaborersLEARN
This state-of-the-art web-based learning system, originally designed as a
distance-learning portal, has evolved into much more than was intended
as it serves as a means of sharing information between training
directors and instructors throughout North America.
The many expanded benefits of LaborersLEARN include: an electronic
clearing house and library, electronic mail, electronic conference
rooms, and an on-line bookstore for Laborers-AGC curriculum and training
materials.
Technical Assistance and Support to Affiliates
Laborers-AGC is always ready to assist its affiliates in
support of all of its technological applications as well as in
diagnostic and network solutions. The Fund also assists in the
purchasing of computer hardware and software.
